NetZero Insider’s offshore wind beat reporter, John Cropley, was in Brooklyn last week for the New York-New Jersey Offshore Wind Supplier Forum, where he listened to discussions on the supply chain, received a presentation from BNEF analyst Chelsea Jean-Michel and interviewed officials from two small OSW developers.
In Washington, K Kaufmann continues her hawkish coverage of everything coming out of the Department of Energy, including an announcement on cold climate heat pumps and an RFP for HALEU-processing facilities. K also wrote about the Department of Transportation’s first round of funding for EV chargers to be located in remote, tribal and LMI communities; and James Downing reported on a letter from Democratic members of Congress to FERC urging it to complete its work on the transmission NOPR.
