I knew it. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. I knew it!
What did I tell you guys? As soon as I let any optimism about the Dallas Cowboys enter my thoughts, it’s a train wreck. It’s a dumpster fire. It’s a dumpster fire inside a train wreck caused by the falling sky. One of my biggest fears was turning off the game for my buddy’s wedding ceremony and turning it back on to Dallas trailing 14-0. Well, that fear literally turned into reality. The pick-6 near the end of the first half was the last straw for me, and because of that, I guess I got to enjoy the reception more. Thankfully we were at a bourbon distillery. And they had Taco Bell delivered late at night. That combo helped drown my sorrows.
At the same time, I was 0.0% surprised. Any time we have any expectations, it’s an epic flameout. I’m not sure I have the energy to even care what happens next. Either way, I have seven months to not think about it. The only solace I got from the weekend was the Eagles losing. Sorry Merry and Rich, but I needed something.
Guess I am a Ravens fan from here out. It is probably my only chance to see a Super Bowl parade any time soon.
Now, at least these RTO Insider news stories are winners.
