The Super Bowl is this weekend, but instead of picking who I think will win (I already told you I am never picking against Patrick Mahomes again), I figured I would share some of the interesting prop bets I have seen surrounding the big game.

Will either kicker hit the upright or crossbar on a missed field goal or extra point attempt? This actually happened last year when the Chiefs’ Harrison Butker did it in the first quarter. The 49ers’ Jake Moody is shaky as well, so let’s say the ‘doink’ happens again!

Will any player propose to his girlfriend on the field after the game? We all know where this is going. But no way it happens this way. Perhaps another player/girlfriend combo, but I will go no.

Reba McEntire is singing the national anthem. Will it be over/under 86.5 seconds? Over. Some quick studying told me no one since Super Bowl 32 has sung the anthem in less than 87 seconds. Easy money. (Aaaand I just jinxed it.)

What will be the result of Gronk’s “Kick of Destiny 2” FanDuel commercial? He missed last year (I think?), so he has to make it this time, right? That’s what they want you to think! Miss.

Will a player achieve an ‘octopus’ (score 8 points)? Again, something that seems difficult and odd to do happened last year with Jalen Hurts. There are so many players in this game who could easily do this, but will anyone need to go for 2? Maybe if someone hits an upright. I’ll say it does happen, and it is Deebo Samuel.
