Vehicle glove boxes can become like black holes: When things go in, they never come back out. Fortunately, that wasn't the case for one man in Nebraska, as he found a forgotten scratch-off ticket in his glove box that yielded a nice surprise.

Lucas Swarthout was cleaning out the glove box of his truck when he stumbled upon an unscratched lottery ticket from months ago. He finally scratched it off, and it revealed he had won the top prize: a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab Flex Fuel truck. Nothing like finding a new truck in the glove box of your old truck.

Perhaps I should finally go buy a ticket … and throw it in my compartment for a month or two to let it marinate. Though I assume I would have to “forget” about it for idea to have the same effect. But that shouldn’t be hard in my over-cluttered family car.
