It seems the New Orleans Police Department headquarters has a rat problem. And it's not just that they're in the building, but that they're eating evidence and getting high. 

Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick went before the city’s Criminal Justice Committee on Monday to present reasons the department needs a new building. One of the reasons: Rats are eating the evidence, getting high and pooping on officer’s desks. I'm not sure if there are any surveillance videos of it, but I would bet they look something like this. 

Unfortunately, science says the rats being high is not likely, as getting high on marijuana relies on a process called decarboxylation. Oh well, it still made for a good Friday email.
