Here are some of the stories RTO Insider plans on having for you next week: 


Jon Lamson will check in on the NEPOOL Transmission Committee and pass along any vital information. 


John Norris will follow along with the NYISO Management Committee, which figures to vote on modeling improvements for capacity accreditation. Meanwhile, the ICAP/MIWG/PRLWG will feature a discussion on the demand curve reset from the Analysis Group. 


Devin Leith-Yessian will pass along the information from the PJM Electric Gas Coordination Senior Task Force. The task force is set to continue discussion on proposals to harmonize aspects of the RTO’s markets with the gas trading markets. 


Amanda Durish Cook will have a piece on the MISO-PJM Interregional Planning Stakeholder Advisory Committee. The RTOs will address their state regulators’ calls for more comprehensive interregional transmission planning. 


Tom Kleckner will dish on the SPP Board of Directors meeting, as the board and Members Committee are expected to endorse the Markets+ tariff during a special conference call, clearing the way for its filing at FERC. 


Ayla Burnett will get the details from the CAISO Annual Interregional Coordination meeting, where the ISO, WECC, Northern Grid and WestConnect will discuss interregional coordination efforts across the Western footprint. There will also be a California Energy Commission joint workshop on Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator Program concepts. The CEC and Caltrans are soliciting feedback on the proposed structure and requirements for the state’s Electric Vehicle Charger Reliability and Accessibility Accelerator program grant funding opportunity. 


James Downing will report on the EPSA Competitive Power Summit. The all-day conference will feature speakers involved in the IPP business and from ISO/RTOs. 


Holden Mann will have a story on the SERC Reliability Board of Directors and Members meetings, as members and directors will discuss the nomination of new directors, the organization’s 2025 budget, winter performance in the region and other reliability concerns.
