Spring Break has come to an end. I saw a crappy baseball game, but other than that, I basically did nothing. This is 40. 

Not too long ago, my Spring Breaks consisted of flying to Florida with a bunch of friends with the intent of getting into as many shenanigans we could. I had the energy to power through consecutive days of said shenanigans before eventually crashing upon my return home. Now, my Spring Breaks consist of driving three hours from Maryland to Pennsylvania, dragging the two kids and two dogs along, to see what feels like an endless number of families for Easter. My energy has been replaced with constant tiredness and a desire to sit for more than five minutes at a time. This is 40. 

Fortunately, I may have a do-over, as my wife and I will be traveling to Greece and Italy (kid and dogless) for 10 days in August. I’ll call it Summer Break? By then I’ll be 41, so I guess I’ll see if I can turn back the clock by a decade or two.
