Was it fate or coincidence? Your answer probably correlates to your religious beliefs, but in the end, the event still happened. And that is all Miriam Long cares about. 

In what she termed as the “best mistake of her life,” Long went to a local CVS in Virginia with the intent of buying a Mega Millions lottery ticket. Instead, she accidentally hit the button for the Powerball and was given a ticket with random numbers. Well, as (fill in fate/coincidence here) would have it, five of the numbers matched the drawing, earning her a $1 million win. Serendipitous. Blessed. 

But here is something else to think about. What if Long originally went to pick up a Powerball ticket? Would she still have hit the correct button? I guess that’s a question for somebody else.
