The NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship game is tonight, and it seems like just yesterday I was writing an email telling you guys how great the opening weekend is. Now, 25 days later, the madness is coming to an end with what looks like one heck of a title game. 

The Connecticut Huskies, the odds-on favorite all year to repeat as champs, will take on the Purdue Boilermakers tonight at 9:20 ET for the right to hoist the championship trophy. The teams sport a combined 70-7 record and finished No. 1 (UConn) and No. 3 (Purdue) in the regular season rankings. This is one of the best championship game matchups in recent history. 

Of course, I’d be remiss if I did not congratulate South Carolina as the women’s champ. Despite Caitlin Clark's best efforts (30 points), the Lady Gamecocks ran the table to 38-0 and captured their third title since 2017.
