Just a few days ago I wrote about a Virginia woman who accidentally bought the wrong lottery ticket and went on to win $1 million. Well, wouldn’t you know, it didn’t take long for someone to duplicate that feat.
A man in Annapolis, Md., last week went back to a local convenience store to check his Powerball tickets. The man said he likes to use the “replay” feature, which allows players to scan older tickets and print new ones with the same numbers. What he didn’t know was that his stack of tickets included duplicates from prior drawings. Can you see where this is going? The man checked his tickets the next day and found one that matched the first five numbers and, like the woman, was good for $1 million. It also just so happened that the ticket was one of the accidental duplicates and netted him a second $1 million win.
I think these last two lottery stories have taught me something: if I am going to play the lottery, I shouldn't think about anything. Just walk in, start pushing buttons and ride with whatever comes out. In the end, the odds are the same ... if not better?
Now, this RTO Insider news might be imitated, but it is never duplicated.
From everyone at RTO Insider, thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your day!
