Ordering food to someone else’s house is one of the oldest tricks/pranks in the book. And while most of the time it is something like a few pizzas, a man in Turkey took it a bit further.
The situation went viral on social media when “someone” ordered food from a bunch of restaurants and had it all delivered to the same address at the same time (hopefully your browser has the “translate” feature). Even though the person used an all-time fake phone number and selected the “cash on delivery” option from the app, most of the restaurants still fell for the prank and went ahead with the orders. I will say, the picture of all the delivery guys standing outside on the street is rather funny.
In the end, no one filed a complaint, so the police didn’t bother investigating — meaning the perp got away with it all. Most think it was a scorned boyfriend getting back at his ex-lover. Then again, maybe he knows the key to a woman’s heart is food.
Now, RTO Insider definitely meant to deliver this news to you.
