Fresh off one of the tightest races in Kentucky Derby history, the NASCAR world saw its closest finish ever a day later in Kansas.

In another finish that was decided by a still image, Kyle Larson beat Chris Buescher by a thousandth of a second to win the AdventHealth 400 at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City. To think that the winner of the race, which took more than three hours and 268 laps to finish, came down to less time than it takes a fly to flap its wings, is borderline unfathomable. 

When they say every play and every second matters in sports, this is what they mean. But at the end of the day, we all know what Dom said about margin of victories …
