You are never too old to graduate. Even if you are on the 65-year plan.

Marie Fowler finally consummated her academic journey at Howard University this week, graduating with a doctoral degree in divinity. She did so at 83 years young, making her the university’s oldest doctoral graduate. Fowler had been out of school since 1959 and was unsure about what to do before having a talk with the Lord. That, along with a motto her late father always said, convinced her to go back. 

Perhaps Fowler wasn’t ducking school as much as she was just saving for tuition. At this rate, it is going to take me the same amount of time to pay off my kid’s schooling.
