It was a bit of a light week here at NetZero Insider, but our stories were no less interesting.

John Cropley attended Capture the Energy, hosted by the New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium in Albany, where speakers included NYSERDA President Doreen Harris, storage developers, analysts and one Nobel laureate. 

Meanwhile, Ayla Burnett was in another state capital, Sacramento, for the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit, where developers were bullish and calling on California officials to up their procurement targets. 

And K Kaufmann reported on the latest out of the White House, where President Joe Biden confirmed that a tariff moratorium on solar cells and panels from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam will end as scheduled, on June 6, upping the ante in the administration’s efforts to break China’s dominance in clean energy manufacturing.
