Here are some of the stories RTO Insider plans on having for you next week:


Jon Lamson will have a story on the ISO-NE Consumer Liaison Group, as it discusses reliability and demand response with members of the public. There will also be the New England Energy Conference and Exposition, which will feature panels of energy experts from across the region. 


Devin Leith-Yessian will cover a trio of PJM meetings. The Planning Committee will consider an issue charge on capacity interconnection rights, while the Market Implementation Committee will consider revisions to Manual 11 to address the bid duration for economic demand response. Lastly, the Operating Committee will review monthly operating metrics and PJM will provide a security update to stakeholders. 


Hugh Morley will gather info on the New Jersey Energy Master Plan from the state’s Board of Public Utilities. It figures to be the last of four hearings the BPU has held. 


Amanda Durish Cook will tune into MISO’s Subregional Planning Meetings as the RTO discusses the latest project count of the 2024 Transmission Expansion Plan. 


Tom Kleckner will report on a special meeting of the ERCOT Technical Advisory Committee, which is scheduled to hold another conference call on a rule change regarding voltage ride-through requirements for IBRs. 


CAISO staff and stakeholders will discuss the revised straw proposal that goes over rules of conduct changes to address metering penalty issues. Ayla Burnett will cover. 


James Downing will follow along with the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee as it votes on President Biden’s nominees FERC


K Kaufmann will tune into a livestream of the ACORE Finance Forum, which will focus on the role of private finance in the energy transition. Featured speakers include former National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy and DOE Assistant Secretary of Infrastructure David Crane. K will also report on DOE’s Affordable Home Energy Shot Summit as the department looks at its efforts to cut costs and improve efficiency for home energy-efficiency retrofits.
