Dogs are man’s best friend, so I guess it is only right they are constantly treated like one.
There is a new “lap of luxury” pooches can sit on, and it is called “BARK Air.” The airline, which debuted last week with its maiden flight from New York to Los Angeles, describes itself as “the world’s first air travel experience designed specifically for dogs first, and their human companions second.” Starting at $6,000 (what?!), one human and dog can fly first class, roam freely throughout the cabin, and be treated to chicken-flavored “puppuccinos,” cupcakes and shoes to snack on. The dogs are also free to do their business wherever and whenever they’d like. OK, now I am jealous.
I love my dogs and all, but if I am flying across the country for a vacation, they are not coming with me … and especially not for $6,000. They can do whatever they want at my parents’ or my house for free.
