The Federal Highway Administration this week announced $521 million in Charging and Fueling Infrastructure grants  from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

K Kaufmann reported on the full announcement ... which actually came out the day after the news was broken by U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla that California received the largest award, $102 million, to install DC fast chargers and hydrogen fueling stations for medium- and heavy-duty trucks along 2,500 miles of key freight corridors. Elaine Goodman wrote about that. 

K also wrote a follow-up on the second anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, in which she interviewed multiple several industry leaders for their views on the law. 

And John Cropley wrote about the 2024 editions of DOE’s wind energy market reports, which showed that utility-scale onshore wind capacity increased by 6.5 GW in 2023.
