Here are some of the stories RTO Insider plans on having for you next week:

Jon Lamson will report on the ISO-NE Planning Advisory Committee and its discussion of asset-condition projects, as well as the NEPOOL Reliability Committee and its talks on load forecasting.

Vincent Gabrielle will have a piece on the NYISO Transmission Planning Advisory Subcommittee, as well as take in the sights from the Alliance for Clean Energy NY conference on Monday and Tuesday.

Devin Leith-Yessian will gather the news out of the PJM Transmission Expansion Advisory Committee, which will hold a special session on how the RTO should proceed in drafting long-term regional transmission planning rules to comply with FERC Order 1920. Elsewhere, the Deactivation Enhancements Senior Task Force will discuss proposals on revising the notification generation owners must give ahead of retiring a unit, while a Tech Change Forum will offer up a new tool that helps members understand how its marginal ELCC approach will affect resource accreditation over time.

Amanda Durish Cook will be at MISO Board Week, which will take place in Indianapolis from Sept. 17 to 19. Talks figure to center around a summer performance review of operations, a stakeholder discussion on reliability across the seams, an update on annual and long-range transmission planning and a check-in on the RTO’s budgets.

Tom Kleckner will dive into an ERCOT EHV workshop focused on 765-kV transmission, a potential solution to the increasing growth in the oil-rich Permian Basin. Vendors will participate with their thoughts on construction and design considerations.

Ayla Burnett will have a story on the CAISO Market Performance and Planning Forum, where the ISO’s Department of Market Monitoring will review high-level market performance issues. Meanwhile, the ISO’s Greenhouse Gas Coordination Working Group will wade through the details of how to account for emissions in priced versus non-priced zones in the implementation of the Extended Day-Ahead Market.

Robert Mullin will cover the quarterly meeting of WECC’s Board of Directors on Tuesday.

And Holden Mann will follow along with the NERC Standards Committee, where members will discuss the ERO’s standards development projects, along with results of the recent technical conference on ride-through standards for inverter-based resources.

Finally, the RTO Insider team will also have the details from all of FERC’s rulings from its open meeting.

The details on all the meetings above can be found on our calendar
