I hardly ever get a chance to report these days, so I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight my own writeup for NetZero Insider of EPA’s announcement yesterday of nearly $3 billion for clean port infrastructure, with an accompanying speech by President Joe Biden at the Port of Baltimore.
John Cropley is in New Jersey for the American Clean Power Association’s Offshore Windpower conference, where the Defense of Department and BOEM held a joint signing ceremony of an MOU on coordinating project development. Keep an eye out all this week for more of John’s coverage from the event.
And speaking of New Jersey, our correspondent there, Hugh Morley, was quite busy this past week, as the Board of Public Utilities adopted minimum filing requirements that will allow utilities to propose programs to promote the development of medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle chargers, as well as a three-year pilot program to create 200 MW of dual-use
solar capacity. The state also received a $250 million federal grant to install 167 MHDEV charging ports on the New Jersey Turnpike.
