The inductees into the National Toy Hall of Fame have been announced, and like most of my projection picks, I was 33% correct.

The Strong National Museum of Play revealed its three inductees yesterday, which included Transformers, My Little Pony and Phase 10. Transformers were the only pick I got right, and compared to the other nominees, it should go without saying. I am not familiar with Phase 10, and the game looks semi-complicated for first-time players. Lastly, I will not dispute the My Little Pony selection, as it probably means as much to girls as Transformers does to boys.

My big surprise was the omission of remote-controlled cars. They are like playing racing video games, but in real life, and would have been an easy pick for me. Heck, I am going to go outside and play with my son’s right now.
