It’s shaping up to be a light week as the U.S. energy world takes a Thanksgiving break. Here are a few things RTO Insider plans on having for next week, as well any breaking news.
Devin Leith-Yessian will have a story on the PJM Load Analysis Subcommittee, as it discusses several inputs to the RTO’s 2025 load forecast. The Risk Management Committee is set to consider endorsing an issue charge related to capacity seller credit requirements, while the MIC will hold a special session to lay the foundation for the Quadrennial Review of the capacity market.
James Downing will cover an ACORE webinar on addressing the need for interregional transmission, at which former FERC Commissioner Allison Clements will make an appearance. Transmission and regulatory experts will discuss NERC’s Interregional Transfer Capability Study and the prospects for FERC acting on interregional transmission planning. James will also follow along with a Pennsylvania PUC hearing on resource adequacy.
Ayla Burnett will listen in on the CAISO Department of Market Monitoring’s presentation of its second-quarter market issues and performance report.
Vincent Gabrielle will report on the New York State Reliability Council’s Installed Capacity Subcommittee.
The details on all the meetings above can be found on our calendar.
