Welcome to 2025! We are back at it, and here are some of the stories RTO Insider plans on having for you next week:
Devin Leith-Yessian will have everything PJM, including the Planning Committee’s vote on revised installed reserve margin and forecast pool requirement values for the third 2025/26 Incremental Auction. Elsewhere, the Market Implementation Committee will hear first reads on the second phase of manual revisions to conform with FERC’s order approving the RTO’s package of capacity market changes under the Critical Issue Fast Path.
Robert Mullin will gather the details from the CAISO Department of Market Monitoring’s presentation of its Q3 2024 Market Issues and Performance Report.
Jon Lamson will report on the NEPOOL Participants Committee as it hears reports from ISO-NE officers and NEPOOL subcommittees.
Vincent Gabrielle will check in on the NYISO Transmission Planning Advisory Subcommittee’s meeting, as well as the Installed Capacity Market Working Group’s meeting.
Lastly, K Kaufmann will tune into a Clean Energy States Alliance webinar on state energy storage policies. Officials from Massachusetts and New Orleans will talk about their programs.
