Here are some of the stories RTO Insider plans on having for you next week:

In ISO-NE, Jon Lamson will check in on the NEPOOL Transmission Committee and its discussion of a recent FERC order preventing transmission owners from assigning operations and maintenance costs for interconnection upgrades to interconnection customers.

Vincent Gabrielle will report on the NYISO Management Committee and Budget Priorities Working Group meetings as they discuss a reprioritization of projects for 2025. Elsewhere, the ICAP Working Group will resume its conversation about the Operating Reserves Performance penalties that got contentious back in December.

Devin Leith-Yessian will follow along with the PJM Market Implementation Committee, which is set to convene a special session to continue discussions on the availability window for demand response resources. Two days later, the MIC will continue discussions on the Quadrennial Review of the capacity market.

Amanda Durish Cook will have a story on the MISO Interconnection Process Working Group. The RTO will update stakeholders on progress it and tech startup Pearl Street are making to cut down on the interconnection queue backlog.

Henrik Nilsson will attend what should be a lively two-day Bonneville Power Administration workshop in Portland, Ore., to discuss the agency’s looming decision on participating in a Western day-ahead market.

K Kaufmann will attend Auto Show Policy Day in D.C. This forum should provide an opportunity to gauge how the auto industry is reacting to President Trump’s executive orders on EVs, as well as get a sneak peek at new models.

Holden Mann will tune into a Talk with Texas RE webinar on NERC’s Interregional Transfer Capability Study.

The details on all the meetings above can be found on our calendar

The RTO Insider team will also have a bunch of other news, so be sure to check out the website and our daily emails throughout the week!
