Even the strongest mothers need help sometimes. | Shutterstock

Sometimes when things get desperate you have to ask for help. It appears dogs understand that sentiment as well.
Footage caught last week shows a homeless dog carrying her dying puppy to a veterinary clinic in Istanbul, seemingly asking the vets for any help they could provide. The pup was one of two still alive following the birth of a litter, as the others perished from a lack of milk. The mother can be seen, her chin on the table, as she watched the men care for her pup. As a multi-dog owner, that sight kind of hit me in the feels.
It’s a happy ending though. The mother and pups were being cared for at the clinic and, because of the viral nature of the video, have them hoping they will find a home soon. Hey, at least internet videos can be good for some things.
