Keon and Shayna Mitchell have two things to look forward to this year. One is taking care of their newborn, and the other is free donuts!

Shayna went into labor last Wednesday — coincidentally the same day a winter storm was rolling through Alabama. The storm made their trip to the hospital futile, and with the baby’s head crowning at a red light, they were forced to pull into a Krispy Kreme parking lot for her to give birth. Paramedics eventually reached the Mitchells and took them the rest of the way. Upon hearing the story a few days later, the company offered them free donuts for the rest of the year. Sweet on top of sweet. 

I wish I knew this was a possibility a few years ago. I would have worked it out so my son was born at the local Taco Bell. So may Doritos Locos Tacos!
